What Happens When You’re Under the Weather

I looked out from inside
For I could no longer hide
In the safety of my house
That’s as quiet as a mouse.

I could see the sunlight
So beautiful and bright
Casting down all around
Not a cloud to be found

I stepped out the doorweather
The sky began to pour
In the heart, I was poked
As I was instantly soaked.

I glanced up at the sky
And I wanted to cry
For the only cloud there
Was right above my hair

It followed me all day
While bills I did pay
I tried to lose it a bunch
But it stayed for lunch

No matter what I tried
Above me, it did abide
No matter where I went
It never would relent.

About terrimbraun

Hey there! I'm Terri. One of my biggest hopes is for this blog to bring you many laughs, a few shockers, the odd tear and maybe even some scares! Through my writing, I would like to take you away from the normal and bring you into my world! I love to bake. Especially if I get to eat it all before the kids and hubby get home. I enjoy scrapbooking, or a least I like the thought of scrapbooking because if I am honest, there is no way I have time for that! I love playing the occasional first person shooter game. The reason I only play occasionally is because I get quickly sucked into a severe red dot addiction.
